In 1988 Harold Blomberg opened Harold's Oak House stocked with inexpensive particleboard furniture. He soon discovered that the locally made Amish furniture, crafted from a much higher quality solid wood, would provide a much better product, and the rest is history. Today, Harold's Oak House is still family owned and operated, run by Harolds son-in-law Mike with assistance from the rest of the family, and the furniture is guaranteed to last a lifetime. All of the furniture is locally made by one of 16 different independent shops from wood that is sourced in the United States. Visit the showroom today and see why customers travel from as far away as New York and Virginia.
Where Our Furniture Is Made
Our furniture is proudly made in the heart of Lancaster county. All of our furniture is made with in a 25 miles from our store. We pick all of our furniture up ourselves and make sure it is in great shape before it comes to our showroom.
How Our Furniture Is Made
Our furniture is built with pride and passion, not like a factory, where everything is just run through a line. All of our furniture is handcrafted and is made to last a lifetime. With factory furniture as soon as you start to move it around it starts to shake and over time will eventually fall apart, not the case with our furniture, with our furniture, you will be able to pass it down from generation to generation.
